James Catazaro
James Catazaro joined the firm’s Waco office in September 2011. Originally from Canton, Ohio, James began his career in the U.S. Air Force as a security forces narcotic canine handler. After his service, he continued his law enforcement career in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as a Deputy Sheriff. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree from Regis University and went on to receive his law degree from the University of Dayton in 2001.
James’ career has taken him from the jungles of Central America through many state jurisdictions to the deserts of the Middle East. He managed the implementation of an Office of Inspector General for the Texas Education Agency, worked exclusively with US Army Special Forces in training Iraq Counter Terrorism Forces. He is well versed in law and diverse in its applications. From testifying as an expert witness to discussing statewide initiatives with Texas State Legislators, he aims to stay involved at all levels. Admitted to practice law in both Texas and Virginia, James has been a managing attorney for several high-volume personal injury law firms where he has represented hundreds of personal injury clients.
When James is not representing personal injury clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 24 years; Tammie (a recently retired military officer), their two daughters; Mikayla and Olivia, and their two dogs. He also enjoys skeet shooting, cooking, mountain bike riding, and reading.
